MANILA, Philippines – She made sure not to forget her Filipino fans on Christmas day! 

The “All I want for Christmas Is You” hitmaker greeted her Filipino fans on Christmas day and said, “Merry Christmas to my festive Filipino lambili!!!”

She said it to accompany a post from Sony Music Philippines showing a Filipino community happily enjoying the holidays singing her classic Christmas hit in a mall in Pasay City.  

The festivities featured some Mariah Carey memorabilia like lanterns.

This wasn’t the first time the global superstar noticed Filipinos’ love for Christmas and her music. 

Back in September, she joined Filipinos in the early celebration of Christmas. 

In a Facebook post, Carey shared a link of “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” a global household Christmas anthem Filipinos have grown accustomed to playing in malls, parties and restaurants when the “ber” months begin. 

She said, “Philippines, it’s time (only for you!!). I hope you’re all safe and well. Let’s celebrate together.”

Also last year, her Christmas hit increased in Spotify streams. She credited her Filipino fans for it. 

 “I’ll allow it for my Filipino lambs,” she said. 

As of writing, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” has over 2.1 billion streams on Spotify.
