MANILA, Philippines – It is that time of the year again when the contenders for the 50th year of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) vye for coveted recognitions – the Gabi ng Parangal. As all roads lead to the Solaire Grand Ballroom in Paranaque City on Friday (December 27), stars of the ten feature films shine anew and celebrate FIlipino artistry. 

The star-studded awards night will be hosted by television personalities Robi Domingo, Gabbi Garcia, Jasmine Curtis Smith and Tim Yap. 

On Facebook, the MMFF announced that singers Jona, Yeng Constantino, Rita Daniela, Lyka Estrella, Hannah Precillas and Marielle Montellano will exhibit a powerful musical showcase. 

Today’s hottest young stars Aljon Mendoza, Gela Atayde, Krystal Brimner and Kokoy De Santos will deliver a showstopping performance. 

Balladeers Robert Seña, Mark Bautista, Arman Ferrer and John Arcilla too are among the performers along with Black Eyed Peas member Apl de Ap and broadway diva Rachel Ang Go.

The Gabi ng Parangal will be live streamed via the MMFF Facebook page. Red carpet gala starts at 5:30 pm and the awards night starts at 7 pm.
