After a series of high profile break-ups in 2024, 2025 quickly followed suit. Barely two days into the year, another hot shot split happened – Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto have now called it quits.
On Instagram, Forteza shocked the internet when she made an announcement that she and Roberto, her boyfriend of four years, are now heading separate paths.
Instead of talking trash about her now ex-boyfriend, Forteza took the high road by dedicating a gratitude post for now ex-boyfriend for all the years he became the happiest because of him.
“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love,” she said.
“Your love was exceptional. But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together,” she said.
For Forteza, it was no less a “beautiful goodbye.”
“Thank you for loving me the way you did. I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve,” she said.
Forteza ended the post by asking for everyone’s understanding.
“I hope for everyone’s understanding and I wish you can help us put this matter to rest,” she said.
The two first met when they did the 2017 series “Meant to Be.
In the middle of 2017 Forteza revealed that they were indeed an item.
