MANILA, Philippines – After all the hurdles he and his family faced last year, Parokya ni Edgar front man Chito Miranda welcomed 2025 with “nothing but gratitude.” 

In a social media post on January 1, the singer uploaded a photo of him with his wife, former actress and entrepreneur Neri Naig Miranda showing them all smiles for the new year. 

Chito said, “Happy New Year! Nothing but gratitude! May we all have a wonderful 2025.” 

Last Christmas, Chito also expressed an even more emotional message of gratitude to the Lord for now leaving them and having them surrounded by the best people during their darkest times. 

“Merry Christmas mula sa Miranda Family. Maraming, maraming salamat, Lord, for always taking care of us. Thank You po kasi never Nyo kami pinabayaan,” he said. 

Neri was among the biggest newsmakers of 2024 when she got arrested last November for alleged estafa and violation of the Securities Regulation Code after allegedly persuading clients to invest in a skin care company turning out to be unauthorized to solicit investments from the public. 

Last December, the former actress was ordered released by a Pasay City court.
