MANILA, Philippines – Agriculture Undersecretary for Livestock Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano, husband of actress Dina Bonnevie passed away on Tuesday, January 7, King of Talk Boy Abunda confirmed.
On his program Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the talk show host announced that the National Tobacco Association where DV worked as an undersecretary first revealed and confirmed the news.
Over a week ago, the couple were still able to celebrate New Year in Japan as seen in the actress’ last Instagram post.
Abunda said he was even able to talk to Bonnevie herself and confirmed the cause of her husband’s death.
“On behalf of the men and women of Fast Talk, kami ay taos-pusong nakikiramay sa pamilya ni DV [at] kay Dina Bonnevie. We will be praying for courage, we will be praying for your well-being. And sabi nga ni Dina, si DV po succumbed to abdominal aneurysm,” Abunda said.
Bonnevie and Deogracias were married in 2012.
