MANILA, Philippines –  Senator Sherwin Gatchalian on Wednesday refused to answer if he and girlfriend Bianca Manalo have already parted ways. 

“Alam niyo naman ‘di ako nagko-comment sa personal life ko,” Gatchalian said during the Kapihan sa Senado forum. 

Jokes about him no longer feeling the warmth of somebody beside him giving him colds and cold nights shifted the discussion from the rightsizing bill to his love life. 

When pressed to set the record straight, he simply answered, “secret” and “no comment.” 

“Masaya naman ako parati. Masaya naman ako as a person…Pinagpawisan tuloy ako sa inyo,” he said. 

Rumors about their break-up started to make rounds online when Gatchalian posted  holiday photos of him with his family without Manalo.

For her part, Manalo has a white Christmas with her family in Niseko, Hokkaido and Tokyo Japan. Gatchalian too obviously was not with them. 

Back in December 2023, Manalo was embroiled in a cheating controversy when screenshots of her conversations with  “Magandang Dilag” co-star Rob Gomez went viral online. 

The former beauty queen simply dismissed it and the senator said they were “going strong.”
