MANILA, Philippines — AirAsia launched its latest New Year seat sale, offering one-way base fares for as low as P188 to select domestic and international destinations.

The booking period runs from January 13 to 19, 2025, while travel dates are set from February 3 to November 30, 2025. A total of 523,830 seats are available under the promotion.

For domestic flights departing from Manila, the following destinations are included:

Iloilo: P188

Kalibo: P218

Bacolod: P308

Roxas City: P338

Tacloban: P338

Cebu: P388

Tagbilaran: P418

Puerto Princesa: P448

Caticlan: P448

Cagayan de Oro: P488

For flights departing from Clark, Caticlan is available for as low as P188.

Meanwhile, international flights from Manila feature the following destinations:

Macao: P948

Kaohsiung: P1,388

Taipei: P1,788

Tokyo: P2,048

Kota Kinabalu: P2,088

Hong Kong: P2,188

The seat sale can be accessed through AirAsia’s MOVE app or website. 

The airline reminded travelers that additional taxes and surcharges apply.

In 2024, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) recorded over 19 million inbound and outbound travelers. 

A total of 14,540,533 passengers arrived in the country, consisting of 7,922,052 Filipinos and 6,618,481 foreign nationals. 

Meanwhile, 15,050,136 individuals departed from the Philippines, with the majority being Filipinos at 8,348,283. Foreign nationals accounted for 6,701,853 of the departures.
