MANILA, Philippines – Senate re-electionist Tito Sotto issued a denial about ever receiving a copy of the Pepsi Paloma movie script supposedly having been sent to their camp through him.
Lawyer Raymund Fortun, who represents controversial filmmaker Darryl Yap, on Monday, slammed comedian Vic Sotto’s claim that he was never consulted about the movie and its story. He said Yap has in fact sent a copy of the script to a prominent sibling who is also a senator and was received by an intermediary.
Fortun said there was no need for a receiving copy since the unnamed intermediary has confirmed to them that the former senator had already received the copy.
In response, Sotto, on Monday (January 13), took to X to express his version of the story.
“Not true. False,” he posted.
The former lawmaker clarified that “they gave a script to Vic del Rosario, not Vic Sotto. Vic nor I never read their script.”

Unlike Yap’s previous movies like “Maid in Malacañang,” “Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging Pornstar” and “Revirginized,” Yap’s most shocking movie yet was not produced by Viva Films.
Because “Vic del Rosario turned it down,” Sotto said.

“The Kingdom” lead actor’s lawyer, Buko dela Cruz also denied Fortun’s statement and said “that’s not true.”
