MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Pacific announced its new direct flights from Manila to Sapporo, Japan (New Chitose).

Starting January 16, the airline will operate the Manila-Sapporo route three times a week—every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday—making it the first and only carrier to provide direct flights between the two cities.

To celebrate the milestone, Cebu Pacific launched a special seat sale for as low as P1,488 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges.

To mark the start of Cebu Pacific’s Sapporo direct flight, in 2024 the flag carrier also announced a promo that runs from November 13 to 19, 2024, covering a travel period from January 16 to March 29, 2025.

Travelers can expect a winter getaway to remember, as the promo period coincides with the best season to visit Hokkaido.

Among the top activities to enjoy in Sapporo are skiing and snowboarding at Teine Ski Resort, sledding at Takino Suzuran Hillside Park, and visiting the iconic Sapporo Snow Festival, famous for its illuminated snow and ice sculptures.

Passengers can book flights using existing Travel Funds or through flexible payment options such as credit cards, debit cards, or e-wallets, it said.

With this addition, Cebu Pacific continues to expand its international network, now covering 35 domestic and 27 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
