Lolit Solis and Mark Herras

MANILA, Philippines – Veteran showbiz columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis expressed concern over former talent Mark Herras who was recently seen dancing at a gay bar. 

Herras, who has long been active as a social media influencer as a dancer, made headlines when he performed at a gay bar in Paranaque City last January 11. 

“Syempre naawa. Imagine mo, ‘yung status niya, para sa ganun, parang hindi ko naman inaano ‘yung mga nagpe-perform sa mga gay bar,” she said in an interview. 

“Lahat naman may karapatan at kung minsan trabaho lang naman, kaya lang sana iniisip man lang niya na meron siyang pinoproteksiyunan na career, kung may career pa ‘di ba? she said. 

Solis added that the actor should ask himself if what he is doing is beneficial for him. 

“Huwag na nga ‘yung anak. Lagi naman natin ginagawang panangga ‘yung mga anak, parang sila lagi ang dahilan. Ikaw mismo sa sarili mo, dapat ba mag-perform na sa ganun? Diba parang ganun?” she said. 

“Ikaw mismo, tanong mo sa sarili mo, tama ba na at this point, mag-perform ka sa ganun?” 

“Parang, parang lowest ano na ‘yun na gagawin mo para sa trabaho,” she said. 

It was recently reported that Herras performed at Apollo Male Entertainment in Roxas Boulevard. 

The bar reportedly posted a P500 door charge for the actor’s performance.

It was said that Herras did not strip. As seen from videos online, the actor had two back-up dancers.
