The Gokongwei family, apart from being among the richest in the Philippines, is famous for another reason, the tale of the horrifying snake creature living under their mall – an undying story that peaked during the 1990’s.

Stories have it that the Gokongwei’s built their flagship mall, the Robinsons Galleria intentionally to be the hunting ground for their half-human, half snake family member said to be Pe’s twin.

Retold tales also said that the creature plucked children from comfort rooms and if it fancies a beautiful lady changing in the dressing rooms, the floors will open and the person would fall straight into its mouth.

The most prominent personality said to have seen the creature was actress Alice Dixson, who supposedly fell through a trapdoor but managed to escape via an underground corridor. The Gokongwei family allegedly paid for her silence.

Keeping quiet for over three decades, Dixson finally spoke about it and denied the story.
