MANILA, Philippines – AirAsia Philippines is now offering one-way base fares starting at P122 as part of its 2.2 sale this Chinese New Year.

The promo runs from January 27 to February 2, 2025. 

The promo allows travelers to book flights for trips from January 27 to July 31, 2025, with destinations including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, and Osaka.

The sale is timed with the Lunar New Year, drawing inspiration from the number 2, which symbolizes harmony and prosperity. 

Over 500,000 seats are available for booking through the MOVE App.

“AirAsia Philippines has seen a strong start to the year with a significant increase in seat sales, including the previous three consecutive promos for January, reflecting high demand for our top domestic routes,” said AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head, First Officer Steve Dailisan.

“This positive trend will drive us to continue offering accessible air travel options for Filipinos,” he said.

Local destinations such as Iloilo, Boracay, and Puerto Princesa are also included in the sale.

The promo comes with the news that the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) will maintain the fuel surcharge at Level 4 for both domestic and international flights throughout February. 

This marks the fifth month of stable surcharges, further supporting affordable travel options. Domestic flight surcharges range from P117 to P342, while international surcharges range from P385.70 to P2,867.82.

“We are confident that this positive momentum, coupled with the decision to maintain the fuel surcharge at Level 4 throughout February, will continue to drive demand among our kababayans,” Dailisan said..
