MANILA, Philippines – South Korean yoga instructor Lee Yoo-joo who rose to fame in the South Korean reality show “Infinite Challenge,” died on Tuesday, February 18 at only 35 years old. 

Her death was confirmed by her Yoga studio Yogaum in a statement. 

“I bring you sudden sad news. Teacher Yuju Lee passed away yesterday (February 18th).”

“According to the wishes of the bereaved family, no separate funeral or mortuary will be prepared, and a space for final farewells at the yoga gym run by teacher Yuju will be open until this Friday,” the statement in Korean reads. 

Fans expressed their grief about Lee’s passing in the comments. 

Many also noticed Lee’s cryptic last post bidding farewell. 

In her last Instagram post, Lee uploaded a photo of herself with the caption “bye.” 

Prior to Lee, 24-year-old actress Kim Sae-ron, was also reported to have died with authorities ruling it out as suicide.
