Coco Martin and Katherine Luna 

MANILA, Philippines – After former actress Katherine Luna’s apologies in her tearful tell-all, Kapamilya actor Coco Martin forgives his ex-girlfriend for embroiling him in the paternity issues of her daughter. He even offered to help shoulder the expenses for her medical needs and a role in his top-rating series “FPJ’s: Batang Quiapo.” 

After her hiatus from showbiz, Luna resurfaced in an interview with broadcast journalist Julius Babao on his online program, “Julius Babao UNPLUGGED” where she opened up about her addiction and her problem in her infected eye and her teeth. 

Through vlogger and talent manager Ogie Diaz aired on his YouTube vlog, Martin channeled his message for Luna. 

“Pakisabi, napatawad ko na siya at kalimutan na namin ‘yun. Ang importante ‘yung ngayon. Gusto ko siyang matulungang makabalik muli sa trabaho para sa panibagong buhay niya,” Diaz said quoting Martin. 

“Sabi nga ni Coco, naaawa raw siya kay Katherine at gusto ko siyang tulungan. Nakulong pala siya. Gusto ko sanang mapa-opera ang mga mata niya para makapagtrabaho uli siya,” Diaz said. 

“Sabihin mo, kukunin ko siya sa ‘Batang Quiapo’ kahit hindi pa ayos ang mata niya. Para magkaroon siya agad ng trabaho at mas matuloy niyang maayos ang kanyang buhay para lalo sa mga bata.”

In the interview, Luna said she and her ex-partner got jailed for drug-related offenses in 2020. Thereafter, Luna emotionally apologized to her ex-boyfriend for claiming that he was the father of her daughter and not telling him the truth. 

Martin’s help however came with a condition. 

“Pero sana maipangako niya sa akin na aayusin niya ang buhay niya at hindi na siya babalik sa dating niyang bisyo. Pwede ako maghanap kung saan niya pwedeng ipaopera ang mata niya kung papayag siya,” Diaz said quoting Martin. 

Luna said she sincerely believed Martin was the father of her child but she herself saw in her child, as she was growing up that her daughter had more resemblance to the guy she met after Martin. 

To know the truth, the “FPJ’s: Batang Quiapo” actor-director submitted the child years ago to a DNA test which revealed he was not the father.
