MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte is set to return to the Philippines from Hong Kong “anytime within the week” according to the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
The Vice President attended the “Pasasalamat Para kay PRRD” event in Hong Kong, which gathered overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in a stadium in Wan Chai where she and her father former President Rodrigo Duterte delivered speeches along with the PDP-Laban senatorial slate.
“The Vice President is expected to return to the Philippines anytime within this week since she is expected to grace the 88th Araw ng Dabaw this coming weekend,” the OVP said.
“With regards on the exact date of her return, I’m not privy with her schedule except with the forthcoming Araw ng Dabaw festivities,” an official of the OVP said.
