MANILA, Philippines – A man who threatened to release the naked video of his sex slave who, in years of abuse, got pregnant, was nabbed by authorities for sextortion. 

According to the National Bureau of Investigation – Antique District Office (NBI-ANDO), the operation began when the complainant reported an incident in December 2022 that Jebson  Palmes Gumayao, a.k.a “Jake” contacted her claiming to own a video of her naked. 

The complainant then received a friend request and a message on Facebook Messenger, including an attached video of her sleeping without clothes. 

Upon receiving the message, the complainant immediately called “Jake” and demanded to delete the video. In response, she was told that he would only delete the video if she agreed to have sex with him. 

He also threatened to upload the video on Facebook if she did not comply with his demands. Because of his threats, the complainant was compelled to adhere to his request. 

On March 24, the complainant sent a message to “Jake” pleading to delete the video and end his sexual abuse of her. The abuse that began in 2022 eventually got her pregnant. 

In response, “Jake” instructed the complainant to come to his house in Dalipe, San Jose, Antique, if she wanted to delete the video. This is when the complainant informed the NBI-ANDO agents about the Subject’s instruction.

On March 27, the complainant, accompanied by agents from the NBI-ANDO, went to Jake’s given address, which led to his arrest. 

The suspect is now facing violations of Republic Act No. 9995 also known as the Anti- Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009, as well as Article 286 (Grave Coercion) of the Revised Penal Code.
