MANILA, Philippines – With poise and grace, Miss World Ph 2024 Krishnah Gravidez, if asked, has a dignified way of telling the political situation in the Philippines to the international community once she begins competing for the Blue Crown in the upcoming Miss World 2025 pageant.

Pageant observers see that the 24-year-old stunner not only has the looks to fight but also the wits to win. Articulate in both Filipino and English, Gravidez exudes confidence answering any question, politics included.

A true queen, Gravidez said she is well aware of the current political temperature in the Philippines. But she chooses to see the beautiful in every bad and that’s how she will paint the face of the country before the international community.

“Maybe all of us are aware of what’s going on in our country. But you know, all of these situations, I’ve always seen the light in everything. That we are very determined to have the most harmonized, peaceful, and safe country,” she said during her media send-off on Monday (May 5) at the Savoy Hotel.

“And I feel like we should focus more on the solutions of what we can do as, you know, individuals. What we can do to contribute to that. And I feel like each of our contributions is powerful and we can use that to achieve a safe and harmonized country. Thank you,” she said.

Prepped for the Q&A

The 5’8 Filipina beauty has prepared for the dreaded question and answer portion quite well and credits her team for getting her through the training.

“I cannot say that I’m 100% fluent on anything, anything can happen but as I’ve said I trust my team, I trust my trainer and also I trust myself,” she said.

“Q & A is such a big part of the competition but what I aim to do is to tell my story to connect to other people,” she said.

Gravidez also believes committing mistakes is totally fine.

“For me it’s okay to make mistakes, make grammatically wrong sentences, it’s okay as long as you tell who you truly are. You’re genuine. Communication is connection, it’s what I;ve learned throughout this preparation,” Gravidez said.

Earlier today, Gravidez left Manila bound for Telangana, India – the site of the forthcoming 72nd Miss World final show. The coronation night will be on May 31.

Actress Megan Young won the Philippines first Miss World crown in 2013.
