MANILA, Philippines — A Filipino worker suffered an in-flight miscarriage aboard a Jeju Air flight from the Philippines to Incheon, South Korea, according to Department of Migrant Workers.
The passenger was traveling with her husband, mother-in-law, and daughter from Clark International Airport, with a layover in Incheon before proceeding to Saipan as transiting passengers.
Authorities confirmed the incident with the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, identifying the case as an “in-flight miscarriage on Jeju Air.”
Upon landing, a 911 rescue team transported the worker to INHA University Hospital in Incheon, where the baby was declared dead on arrival.
