MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) announced it will conduct an electronic public bidding for 42 properties from closed banks located in Luzon and the Visayas from July 9 to 10, 2025.

The properties, to be sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, include 11 vacant agricultural lots, 11 vacant residential lots, 10 residential lots with improvements, three agricultural lots with improvements, two commercial lots with improvements, two mixed residential/agricultural lots with improvements, two vacant mixed residential/agricultural lots, and a residential condominium. Lot sizes range from 39.41 to 127,846 square meters and are located in Metro Manila, Aklan, Batangas, Cebu, Camarines Sur, Eastern Samar, Isabela, Laguna, Leyte, Masbate, Pangasinan, and Quezon.

Bidding will be conducted through the PDIC’s e-bidding portal (https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph), with submission of electronic bids open from 9:00 a.m. on July 9 until 1:00 p.m. on July 10. Bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on July 10.

Interested parties must register at the portal to participate and may access detailed property listings, bidding requirements, and conditions. PDIC encourages bidders to perform due diligence, including verifying the actual condition, status, and ownership of properties.

Winning bidders of agricultural properties must submit, within 15 days of the e-bidding, a certification from the Department of Agrarian Reform’s Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer confirming the property is not covered by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, and an Affidavit of Aggregate Landholdings.
