MANILA, Philippines — Globe Telecom recorded 61.6 million mobile subscribers by the end of March 2025, reflecting a 5% increase from 58.8 million during the same period last year, the company said Monday.
In a disclosure, Globe also reported growth in its broadband customer base, which rose to 1.83 million from 1.72 million year-on-year.
Data services accounted for 87% of the company’s total service revenues in the first quarter of 2025, up from 85% in the same period in 2024.
Globe president and CEO Carl Cruz said the figures indicate growing demand for digital services in the country.
“We’re not just going digital for the sake of it,” Cruz said. “We’re building solutions that reflect real needs, real affordability, and real stories of connection.”
