MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are teaming up once again for their third television series, “The Alibi,” a romance-suspense drama announced by ABS-CBN.

According to a report, the network teased the new project through a gripping, investigative-style photo reel showing the duo in edgy new looks — Kim with short, curly hair and Paulo sporting a tousled, rugged hairstyle.

Blood stains and a stack of police files added to the suspenseful aesthetic.

“The Alibi” reunites the pair with the creative team behind their hit series “Linlang,” including directors FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin, writer Danica Domingo, and Dreamscape Entertainment.

This marks the love team’s third project together following “Linlang” and the Philippine remake of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.”

They also starred in the romantic-comedy film My Love Will Make You Disappear.
