MANILA – Oil companies are set to implement another round of price hikes on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive week of increases for all petroleum products.

In separate advisories, Seaoil and Shell Pilipinas announced that starting 6 a.m., gasoline prices will go up by P0.40 per liter, diesel by P1.10 per liter, and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.

PTT Philippines will also raise pump prices, increasing gasoline by P0.40 per liter and diesel by P1.30 per liter.

Caltex, meanwhile, will adjust prices at 6:01 a.m., with gasoline going up by P0.20 per liter, diesel by P0.75 per liter, and kerosene by P0.50 per liter.

This week’s adjustment follows a previous round of increases, as global oil prices continue to fluctuate due to factors such as rising energy demand and the effects of recent US tariff policies.

Industry analysts and government officials have warned that more upward adjustments may be expected in the coming weeks amid ongoing developments in the international market. (PNA)
