MANILA — Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon has ordered the perpetual revocation of the driver’s license of a motorist caught counterflowing on the Skyway early Friday morning.

CCTV footage taken around 3:32 a.m. showed the driver heading into oncoming traffic, putting other motorists in danger.

“Hindi pu-puwede na suspendido lang ang lisensiya ng driver na ito dahil kitang kita naman sa CCTV footage na inilagay niya sa peligro ang buhay ng mga driver ng kasalubong niyang sasakyan. Ipinag-utos ko na i-revoke na nang tuluyan ang driver’s license ng pasaway na driver na ito nang hindi na pamarisan ang reckless driving niya,” Dizon said.

The transportation chief also urged the public to continue reporting similar incidents to the Department of Transportation for prompt action.
