Bids will be accepted via the PDIC e-bidding portal (https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph) starting 9:00 a.m. on September 17 until 12:00 p.m. on September 18, with the opening of bids scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on September 18.
The sale will cover 149 vacant residential lots, three residential lots with improvements, one vacant agricultural lot, one agricultural lot with improvements, and one vacant commercial lot. The properties, with lot sizes of up to 4.1 hectares, are located in Cavite, Misamis Oriental, Pangasinan, and Quezon.
Interested buyers must register on the e-bidding portal and are encouraged to review the complete property catalog, requirements, and bidding process. The PDIC advised bidders to conduct due diligence on the properties and to carefully read the terms and conditions.
Winning bidders of agricultural properties must submit, within 15 days of the auction, a certification from the Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer that the lot is not covered by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, along with an affidavit of aggregate landholdings not exceeding the five-hectare legal limit.
As statutory receiver of closed banks, PDIC said proceeds from the sale of closed bank-owned properties will be used to settle claims of creditors and depositors with uninsured deposits, while revenues from corporate asset sales will be added to the Deposit Insurance Fund.
