
MANILA – The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has warned the public against the circulation of fraudulent documents that appear to have been issued by the central bank or its officials.
The BSP said the fake documents may bear the BSP logo and forged signatures in an attempt to mislead recipients and illegally obtain financial gain or personal information.
The central bank urged the public to remain vigilant and verify the authenticity of any communication or document related to financial transactions.
Suspicious activities and documents may be reported directly to the BSP through its official contact channels.
