MANILA — The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) and the PDIC Employees Organization (PHILDICEO) have formalized a new Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) that aims to strengthen employee welfare and workplace collaboration.
The CNA, which took effect on July 8, 2025, was registered with the Civil Service Commission and will remain valid until July 7, 2029.
Covering all rank-and-file employees, the agreement provides flexible work arrangements, health, safety and wellness programs, legal assistance, training and scholarship opportunities, representation in key PDIC committees, clear grievance procedures, and other employee-centered benefits.
PDIC and PHILDICEO also committed to launch joint campaigns on cost-cutting, systems improvement, and operational efficiency to align employee welfare with institutional sustainability.
PDIC President and CEO Roberto B. Tan described the signing as a milestone, saying, “Collaboration is always possible when we listen to one another, respect each other’s perspectives, and focus on shared goals.”
The CNA, officials said, is the product of constructive dialogue between management and employees, reflecting PDIC’s values of teamwork, integrity, professionalism, and excellence.
