
MANILA — The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) will sell various commercial, agricultural, and residential lots through an electronic public bidding on September 24 to 25, 2025.
According to PDIC, online bids will be accepted through its e-bidding portal (https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph) starting 9:00 a.m. on September 24 until 1:00 p.m. on September 25. Submitted bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on September 25.
Up for sale on an “as-is, where-is” basis are two commercial condominium units, three commercial lots with improvements, one vacant commercial lot, 22 residential lots with improvements, 16 vacant residential lots, seven agricultural lots with improvements, 20 vacant agricultural lots, three mixed residential/agricultural lots with improvements, and three vacant mixed residential/agricultural lots.
The properties, with lot sizes of up to 7.1 hectares, are located in Metro Manila, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Isabela, La Union, Aklan, Leyte, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Oriental, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Maguindanao del Sur.
Interested buyers must register on the PDIC e-bidding portal to join the auction. The catalog of properties, requirements, and conditions of bid are also posted on the portal. PDIC advised bidders to conduct due diligence on the properties before participating.
Winners of agricultural lots are required to submit within 15 days after the bidding a certification from the Department of Agrarian Reform stating that the property is not covered by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, along with an affidavit of aggregate landholdings.
As receiver of closed banks, PDIC said proceeds from the sale of closed bank assets will be used to settle creditors’ claims, while revenues from the sale of corporate assets will be added to the Deposit Insurance Fund to pay deposit insurance claims.
