MANILA—The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) will auction off 188 subdivision lots in Tanza, Cavite through electronic public bidding on October 15–16.

Online bids will be accepted via the PDIC e-bidding portal (https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph) beginning 9:00 a.m. on October 15 until 12:00 noon on October 16. The opening of bids is set for 1:00 p.m. on October 16.

The properties, located in Grandiosa Carissa Homes Subdivision in Barangay Bagtas, will be sold on an “as-is-where-is” basis. Lot sizes range from 56 to 149 square meters, with three of the properties having improvements.

Prospective buyers are required to register once on the portal before they can submit their bids. The e-bidding site provides a complete catalog of properties, requirements, and conditions of bid. The PDIC also advised interested parties to conduct due diligence on the properties they intend to acquire.

Participants bidding on behalf of an individual or an organization may download for free the pro-forma Special Power of Attorney and Secretary’s Certificate from the e-bidding portal.

Proceeds from the sale will be added to the Deposit Insurance Fund, which serves as the funding source for valid deposit insurance claims.
