MANILA — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) will open a new northbound stop at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Busway Station starting October 1, 2025.

To prepare for the launch, the DOTr said a traffic adjustment dry run will be held from 12:01 a.m. on September 22 until 11:59 p.m. on September 30. The dry run aims to complement existing southbound operations and ease commuter access.

The agency reminded passengers to use only designated loading and unloading zones marked with official signages. Busway drivers were also directed to strictly observe their lane assignments.

“The Department extends its gratitude to motorists and commuters for their patience and cooperation as we continue to improve and enhance the EDSA Busway experience for all,” the DOTr said in a statement.

The EDSA Busway project is part of the government’s continuing efforts to improve public transport efficiency and safety under the Bagong Pilipinas program.
