MANILA — The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has initiated its e-Portal Project as part of its digital transformation program to modernize services and deliver more efficient public service.

The project will serve as a one-stop online platform that integrates PDIC’s data systems and service processes into a secure, web-based interface for stakeholders. It will also enhance the PDIC website to make it more responsive and user-friendly.

Features of the e-Portal include support for fund transfers and paperless payments through a third-party e-payment channel, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot for improved communication, and mobile functionality for greater accessibility. The initiative aims to reduce the need for in-person transactions at PDIC’s Public Assistance Center. The project is expected to launch in 2026.

PDIC said the initiative is anchored on efficiency, transparency, and better public service while aligning with the government’s Cloud First Policy. The project, it added, reinforces the corporation’s mandate to protect depositors and maintain financial stability.
