MANILA – Malacañang has declared several local special non-working holidays in October and November 2025 through Proclamations 1045 to 1051, allowing residents to commemorate founding anniversaries, festivals, and historic events.

Proclamation 1045 sets October 9 as a special non-working holiday in San Isidro, Surigao del Norte, for the municipality’s 66th founding anniversary.

On October 16, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur, will observe a holiday under Proclamation 1046 for its 68th founding anniversary.

Proclamation 1047 declares October 20 a holiday in Batac City, Ilocos Norte, to mark the 159th birth anniversary of General Artemio Ricarte, a key figure in the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine-American War.

In Iloilo, Dingle town will observe a holiday on October 28 under Proclamation 1048 to commemorate the Cry of Lincud, the first declaration of revolution against Spain in Iloilo and Panay Island.

Proclamation 1049 declares October 29 a special non-working holiday in Mati, Davao Oriental, in celebration of the Sambuokan Festival.

On October 30, San Isidro, Davao del Norte, will celebrate the Sikwate Festival, declared a special non-working holiday under Proclamation 1050.

Meanwhile, Proclamation 1051 sets November 4 as a holiday in Quezon province to commemorate the death anniversary of national hero Apolinario dela Cruz, also known as Hermano Puli.
