MANILA — Seven ranking officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) received new assignments following the latest round of reorganization approved by acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

In an order dated October 4, Nartatez designated Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano of the Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit (PHAU) as the new Director of Police Regional Office–Northern Mindanao (PRO-10).

Brig. Gen. Lou Evangelista of the Directorate for Logistics was appointed as Director of the Maritime Group, replacing Brig. Gen. Jovencio Badua, who will now head Police Regional Office–Mimaropa (PRO-4B).

Brig. Gen. Antonio Marralag from the Directorate for Police Community Relations was named Director of Police Regional Office–Cagayan Valley (PRO-2), succeeding Brig. Gen. Roy Parena, who has been transferred to the Directorate for Research and Development.

Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Roel Rodolfo of PRO-4B was reassigned to the Directorate for Logistics, while Brig. Gen. Rolindo Suguilon was relieved from PRO-10 and moved to the Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit.

The reshuffle will take effect Monday. (PNA)
