MANILA — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) will be on heightened alert from October 30 to November 4, 2025, as part of preparations for the nationwide observance of Undas 2025, PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil L. Gavan announced.

In compliance with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of travelers, all PCG Districts, Stations, and Sub-Stations will intensify monitoring and assistance operations in ports and waterways across the country.

The PCG, in partnership with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), and Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), will operate DOTr Malasakit Help Desks in major ports, harbors, and transport hubs to assist passengers, provide travel information, and respond to emergencies.

Medical teams from the PCG will also be deployed to augment the help desks, while Coast Guard K9 units will conduct vessel and baggage inspections to enhance security.

Additionally, Coast Guard rescuers and lifeguards will be stationed at beaches, island resorts, and coastal destinations to ensure the safety of families and tourists during the long weekend.

The PCG reminded the public to remain vigilant, observe safety protocols, and cooperate with authorities for a safe and secure travel experience during Undas 2025.
