MANILA – More than 100,000 passengers were monitored in ports across the country on All Saints’ Day, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported Saturday.

From 6 a.m. to 12 noon on November 1, 2025, the PCG recorded 53,638 outbound passengers and 52,122 inbound passengers across all ports nationwide.

To ensure safe and efficient sea travel, the PCG deployed 5,350 frontline personnel from its 16 districts to conduct inspections on 533 vessels and 775 motorbancas.

The Coast Guard said all its districts, stations, and sub-stations have been placed on heightened alert from October 30 to November 4, 2025, in anticipation of the heavy flow of passengers returning to their provinces for Undas.

The PCG also urged travelers to remain vigilant and to comply with maritime safety regulations, reminding the public that only seaworthy and properly inspected vessels will be allowed to operate.

For inquiries or assistance regarding sea travel protocols and regulations, passengers may contact the PCG through its official Facebook page or the Coast Guard Public Affairs Service (CGPAS) at 0927-560-7729.

The PCG reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety, security, and convenience of all passengers throughout the Undas holiday period.
