MANILA — The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has issued a statement clarifying that an online event described as a “Special Dinner & Talk Show” is not authorized.
The organization said any activity using the Miss Universe name, logo, or related branding without prior written consent violates intellectual property rights and brand integrity.
“Any promotional materials, contests, or voting initiatives currently circulating online under the Miss Universe name, including those associated with the aforementioned event, are unauthorized and misleading. Such initiatives do not represent the values, operations, or official activities of the Miss Universe Organization,” the statement read.
MUO emphasized that it reserves all legal rights to take action against individuals, companies, or entities using its intellectual property without permission. This includes use of the Miss Universe name, logo, imagery, or official event designations.
As the global authority of the Miss Universe brand, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, professionalism, and integrity, and to protecting delegates, partners, sponsors, and the public from misleading activities.
