MANILA — The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has received the Silver Award from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) after earning a “Very Satisfactory” rating in the 2024 Report Card Survey (RCS) 2.0, held at Conrad Manila in Pasay City on October 23, 2025.

The PDIC achieved a 92.35% rating, placing 16th among government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs) and 33rd out of 904 government agencies evaluated during the first cycle of RCS 2.0 implementation.

The recognition highlights the agency’s dedication to providing efficient, transparent, and client-oriented services in compliance with Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

The RCS 2.0 is one of ARTA’s flagship programs that assesses government service delivery through direct citizen feedback and onsite validation. It also allows agencies, local governments, and other government institutions to showcase streamlined programs aimed at improving accessibility and responsiveness.

According to PDIC, the award reflects its continued efforts to enhance processes and advance digital transformation to raise the standard of public service for depositors and stakeholders.

Senior Vice President Sandra A. Diaz, Vice President and Officer-in-Charge Adalzon P. Banogon, and Vice President Delilah Grace V. Magtolis received the award on behalf of the Corporation.

The PDIC, established in 1963 under Republic Act No. 3591, is mandated to protect depositors and help maintain financial stability. It operates as an attached agency of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and is part of the Financial Sector Forum, the Financial Stability Coordination Council, and the Financial Inclusion Steering Committee.
