CEBU — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Cebu is rolling out facility and process improvements to enhance comfort, accessibility, and transparency for stakeholders, District Collector Alexandra Y. Lumontad announced on November 12, 2025.

As part of the modernization drive, air-conditioning units will be installed in the Customer Care Center (CCC) waiting area, main lobby, and stakeholders’ holding areas, providing a more comfortable environment for clients transacting at the port.

The Port has also upgraded the CCC kiosk, enabling stakeholders to track their documents throughout the assessment process. The feature aims to improve visibility, accountability, and coordination, while reducing processing delays.

“The Port of Cebu continues to evolve to meet the needs of our stakeholders. These improvements are designed to make our services more transparent, accessible, and responsive. Our goal is not only to meet expectations but to create a better experience for those we serve,” Lumontad said.

Under the guidance of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, the Port of Cebu remains committed to lawful revenue collection, trade facilitation, and border protection, while advancing facility and process innovations to strengthen efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder trust.
