MANILA — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Saturday said it is verifying claims circulating online about a possible breach of its internal systems.

“Our technical teams and government cybersecurity units are undertaking the appropriate investigative steps,” the agency said in a statement.

Initial checks indicate that DILG’s core services remain stable. The department has activated containment and security protocols to safeguard its data while the investigation continues.

The DILG urged the public not to rely on unverified posts regarding the alleged intrusion.
