MANILA — The Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) ordered the transfer of former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Leal Guo from the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory to the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City following her conviction for qualified trafficking.

In a four-page commitment order, Pasig RTC Branch 167 Presiding Judge Annielyn Medes-Cabelis directed the transfer of Guo, along with Rachelle Carreon and Jamielyn Santos Cruz, to the Bureau of Corrections-run CIW.

Under standard operating procedures, the inmates will first be received by a designated officer at the Reception and Diagnostic Center (RDC). Their documents and belongings will be verified before a five-day quarantine period.

Following the quarantine, the inmates will undergo a medical examination and then enter the RDC regular dormitoryfor 55 days of orientation, diagnostics, and qualification. Upon completing the 60-day process, they will be transferred to their assigned regular dormitories at the Maximum-Security Camp.
