
MANILA—The Office of the Vice President (OVP) said the Commission on Audit (COA) found no loss or wastage of government funds in its Annual Audit Report (AAR) for Calendar Year 2024, noting that all observations were administrative and have corresponding recommendations for improvement.
The COA published the executive summary and full report of the OVP AAR on December 1, 2025. The audit covered the OVP’s accounts and operations for CY 2024, with the Auditor’s Report dated December 31, 2024.
According to the OVP, significant audit observations were discussed with management officials during an exit conference on May 16, 2025. Management has agreed to implement all recommendations to address the administrative issues raised.
The audit concluded with an unmodified opinion on the fairness of the OVP’s financial statements as of December 31, 2024. The OVP explained that an unmodified opinion represents the highest level of assurance, indicating that the financial statements are presented fairly in all material respects.
The OVP emphasized that no findings of wrongdoing were made in the audit.
