MANILA — Global pop star Taylor Swift has donated more than ₱117 million (around $2.01 million) to several charitable organizations in time for Christmas, including Feeding America, the American Heart Association, and MusiCares, all of which confirmed her contributions on December 24 (PHT).

In a report, it said that Feeding America, the largest hunger-relief nonprofit in the U.S., shared on Instagram that Swift contributed $1 million to support families facing food insecurity. CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot expressed gratitude for the donation, saying, “This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we unite to end hunger.”

The American Heart Association also received $1 million from Swift, a gift made in honor of her father, Scott Swift, who underwent cardiovascular surgery earlier this year. According to a press release, the donation will advance research, strengthen prevention and treatment efforts, and expand access to life-saving care. CEO Nancy Brown said, “Taylor Swift’s remarkable generosity will create lasting change far beyond its financial value.”

MusiCares, the nonprofit founded by The Recording Academy to support the music community, received a donation from Swift, although the exact amount was not disclosed. The organization said her contribution will help fund programs, resources, and financial assistance for artists and music professionals.

Swift’s charitable giving reflects her ongoing commitment to supporting communities and those who work behind the scenes. In her Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era, she highlighted that she gave increased bonuses to her Eras Tour crew after the tour grossed over $2 billion (around ₱116 billion).

Her holiday contributions mark another example of using her success to benefit those in need, from families facing hunger to artists and medical causes.
