MANILA — Millie Bobby Brown has officially bid farewell to her iconic character Eleven from the hit series Stranger Things.
The sci-fi show ended after nearly 10 years on New Year’s Day (Philippine time) with the release of the Season 5 final episode.
On Instagram, Millie shared a black-and-white photo of herself with the series creators, the Duffer Brothers. “Over and out,” she wrote simply. The phrase, often used to end conversations on radio, was frequently said by the characters throughout the series.
Fans responded with messages of love and gratitude, thanking her for portraying Eleven, a character they have grown up with over the past decade.
Stranger Things debuted on Netflix in 2016. Set in the 1980s, the story begins with the mysterious disappearance of Will Byers and the appearance of Eleven, a girl with psychokinetic abilities, leading to the uncovering of supernatural entities and government conspiracies.
