MANILA — More than 15.6 million travelers arrived in the Philippines in 2025, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) reported.
Data from the BI showed that a total of 15,608,868 passengers entered the country through international ports of entry from January to December 2025, a 6% increase from the 14,733,597 arrivals recorded in 2024.
Of the total arrivals in 2025, 6,704,007 were foreigners.
“We are aggressively modernizing our immigration processes—expanding automated systems, upgrading facilities, and strengthening our manpower—to ensure faster, more secure, and more convenient immigration services for travelers,” BI Commissioner Joel Viado said in a news release.
“These reforms are essential to facilitating legitimate travel for tourists and other travelers,” he added.
Viado said the BI will continue to align its programs with the national government’s push for digitalization and efficient public service delivery, while remaining vigilant against transnational crimes and travel-related abuses.
