MANILA — Davao Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte on Sunday criticized talks of a possible impeachment complaint against his sister, Vice President Sara Duterte.
In a statement, Rep. Duterte urged lawmakers to halt any move to start another impeachment case, alleging that such actions are “scripted, being rushed, and based on an order.”
Meanwhile, ACT Teachers party-list Rep. Antonio Tinio said there is a legitimate basis for the Vice President’s impeachment cases.
No further details on the alleged order or timeline for the filing of the complaint were disclosed.
