MANILA — Kris Aquino, widely known as the “Queen of All Media,” has postponed a planned medical operation after a spike in her blood pressure, the actress and TV personality said on Instagram.

The minor procedure, initially scheduled for Monday as part of her ongoing treatment for multiple autoimmune diseases, had to be rescheduled after her blood pressure rose too high.

“Nervous, having trouble sleeping. My procedure was re-sked because my BP last night was too high,” Kris wrote in an Instagram story. “My heart is overwhelmed. Praying for PEACE.”

A fan page dedicated to Kris and her youngest son, Bimby, previously reported that she had been hospitalized at the end of 2025 after her blood pressure reached 215/118. The page said it had obtained Kris’ permission to post about the incident.

Kris has been battling autoimmune diseases for the past several years, limiting her public appearances and social media activity due to her health condition.
