MANILA — Comedian and TV host Vice Ganda teased the return of his late-night talk show Gandang Gabi Vice during his appearance as a celebrity guest at Inkblots, a campus journalism fellowship hosted by the University of Santo Tomas publication The Varsitarian.
“Ay abangan niyo, kasi magba-balik na’ng ‘GGV,’” Vice told the audience.
ABS-CBN recently shared throwback clips from Gandang Gabi Vice on its social media platforms, reigniting interest in the program.
Vice also discussed his latest project, Call Me Mother, which he co-starred in with Nadine Lustre. The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 entry performed well at the awards night, sharing the Third Best Picture Award with Manila’s Finest.
Vice personally received the Best Actor award for his fourth MMFF nomination, while director Jun Robles Lana accepted the Gender Sensitivity Award, and young actor Lucas Andalio won Best Child Performer.
Following its success in local cinemas, the Star Cinema, Viva Films, and IdeaFirst co-production is set for international release to reach Filipino audiences abroad.
