MANILA – SexBomb Girls leader Rochelle Pangilinan shared on Monday how the group is preparing for their upcoming three-night concert series next month at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The shows are scheduled from February 6 to 8.
Speaking with broadcast journalist Karen Davila, Pangilinan expressed pride in the dedication of the group.
“Ang maganda sa kanila ‘yung sipag, tiyaga at disiplina nandun pa rin, so simula nung September, nag-training na lahat. Umulan, bumagyo, dumarating sila. Kahit masakit ang katawan nila, nagda-dance class ang lahat kahit po ako,” she said.
“Nagsta-start kami from scratch and then hanggang sa gumaling ulit, gumaan, nag-diet ulit. Kaya na-deliver ‘yung ganung klaseng concert,” she added, referring to the preparation for their performances.
When asked about plans after the “Get Get Aw” concert series, Pangilinan said the group is still figuring out future projects.
“Actually, tulala po talaga kami. Wala pa po talagang masyadong nilalatag sa amin sa schedule. Though may nilalatag pero hindi pa po ganun kasigurado. May mga ini-inquire sila sa management kasi po hindi na rin kasi kami isang management lang. May kanya-kanya nang managers. ‘Yun po, inaayos pa rin siya,” she explained.
Pangilinan also emphasized the importance of pacing themselves for the three consecutive nights.
“’Yung ‘rAWnd 3, 4, 5’ na magkakasunod na gabi na tatlo, ‘yun muna ang inuuna namin kasi ‘yung katawan namin, kaya ba namin ‘yun,” she said.
The SexBomb Girls previously held two sold-out reunion concerts last December.
