MANILA – Actress Lauren Young announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Toby Panlilio, describing him as her “best friend.”

“Yes, yes, and yes!!! I’m gonna marry my best friend,” she wrote in all caps in an Instagram carousel post, which included photos of Panlilio on bended knee and her sparkling engagement ring.

Lauren is the younger sister of beauty queen and actress Megan Young.

The actress has been largely inactive on television, with her last main role in the 2021 GMA romance anthology “Never Say Goodbye,” co-starring Klea Pineda and Jak Roberto.
