MANILA — More Filipinos expressed satisfaction with the performance of Vice President Sara Duterte and Senate President Vicente Sotto III than with President Marcos, according to the Social Weather Stations (SWS) fourth quarter survey released for 2025.

The survey, conducted from Nov. 24 to 30, showed that 54 percent of respondents were satisfied with Duterte’s performance, slightly up from 52 percent in a similar poll in September 2025. Those dissatisfied with her dropped from 30 percent to 26 percent, while the undecided remained nearly unchanged at 19 percent. Duterte’s net satisfaction rating was “moderate” +28, up from +22 in September.

Sotto received a net satisfaction rating of “moderate” +16, with 46 percent satisfied and 30 percent dissatisfied. Undecided respondents made up 21 percent. He had a rating of +17 in September 2025, the month he assumed the Senate presidency.

By comparison, Marcos’ satisfaction rating remained “neutral” -3, with 40 percent satisfied and 43 percent dissatisfied, hardly moving from -5 in September 2025.

The survey also included other top officials. Speaker Bojie Dy earned a net satisfaction rating of “neutral” +5, up from +2 in September, with 33 percent satisfied, 28 percent dissatisfied, and 32 percent undecided.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo maintained a net satisfaction rating of “neutral” +9, similar to his September 2025 rating, with 36 percent satisfied and 27 percent dissatisfied.
