MANILA — Overseas Filipino cash remittances reached a record US$3.52 billion in December 2025, pushing total inflows for the year to an all-time high of US$35.63 billion, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported. This represents a 3.3 percent increase from the US$34.49 billion recorded in 2024.

The full-year 2025 cash remittances accounted for 7.3 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and 6.4 percent of Gross National Income (GNI).

The United States remained the largest source of cash remittances, followed by Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

Personal remittances, which include cash sent through banks and informal channels as well as remittances in kind, rose to a record US$3.89 billion in December 2025. Total personal remittances for the year increased by 3.3 percent to US$39.62 billion, up from US$38.34 billion in 2024.
